Formula 1 2018

The UK’s Lewis Hamilton took the 2017 Formula 1 trophy as he beat German Sebastian Vettel by 363 overall points across the season to Vettel’s 317.

Vettel’s season wasn’t helped by retiring in two races towards the end of the season in a year he no doubt believes he could have finished in the top overall position.

Lewis Hamilton is clearly confident for the 2018 season as in a December 2017 interview he said he will go into the new season with high hopes of retaining the title again this year.

However, he did say that this season was likely to be harder than last year with 4 teams who will all be challenging for the top spot.

Valtteri Bottas will saddle up with Hamilton this year and Mercedes look like to be a force to be reckoned with. After their top season winning performance last year we would expect to see few changes.

It would be great to hear who you think will take the title this year. Will Mercedes reign supreme again this year? or will the likes of Ferrari, Red Bull or Williams knock them off their perch? Let us know in the comment section below.
