The Eurovision Song Contest is a cult institution these days. It remains compulsive viewing for many millions of people. And this is as true outside Europe as it is in those countries taking part.
In this article, we are going to explain how you can watch Eurovision 2018, no matter where in the world you are. Whether you are an ex-pat working in Canada or a US fan desperate to see the show, you can enjoy the whole event live with the help of a VPN.
Watch Eurovision 2018 abroad anywhere
Eurovision is big deal in many countries outside of Europe. The fact that Australia will be participating in 2018 as a guest nation is testament to the events global reach.
In the USA and Canada Eurovision is also a big deal, with countless European ex-pats and locals trying to tune in. But it is not always that easy.
This year’s Eurovision is being broadcast in the USA, but on Logo TV, a subscription cable channel that not everyone has access to. But in Canada, Eurovision will not be shown at all, after previous broadcaster OUTtv chose not to broadcast it this year.
However, there are no shortage of channels in Europe that will be showing every moment of Eurovision 2018 Live.
The BBC will be broadcasting all of the semi-finals live on BBC Four, while the final will be on BBC One with Graham Norton’s wry commentary again likely to prove a winner with viewers.
They will also be streaming every moment live on their iPlayer streaming channel too. But unfortunately, they will also be using geo-restriction technology to stop viewers outside the UK from watching.
However, with the help of a VPN, it will be possible to watch their coverage live. For the BBC, NordVPN is the best provider to opt for. And all you need to do is follow these few simple steps.

The 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, after last year’s event was won by Portuguese entrant Salvador Sobral, with his song, “Amar Pelos Dios”.
It will take place at the 20,000 capacity Altice Arena in Lisbon with Portuguese TV personalities Filomena Cautela, Sílvia Alberto, Daniela Ruah and Catarina Furtado taking on hosting duties.

This year’s British entry has some surprising musical credentials. Singer SuRie – real name Susanna Clark – is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and has previously performed as a soloist at the Royal Albert Hall.
She has also performed as a backing dancer at Eurovision for the 2015 Belgian entry Loic Nottet and provided backing vocals for a number of artists, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin and singer Will Young.
The song she has entered this time is called Storm.
