Want to live stream England v New Zealand in the Cricket World Cup Final? I’m going to show you how to do that and for free.
The ICC Cricket World Cup has seen some scintillating cricket as the best players in the world vied for the chance to lift the biggest trophy in the 50-over game.
The final itself is shaping up to be a fitting climax too with two of the sport’s most exciting teams competing.
The one downside to the tournament has been the lack of terrestrial TV coverage, meaning that millions of potential viewers have missed out on the action.
But for the final, things are different.
In England, the whole match will be broadcast live on free-to-air TV. And for fans in other countries, that means you can use a VPN to watch the game for free too.
Where is the Cricket World Cup Final being shown?
In the UK, Sky Sports Cricket holds the rights to show the Cricket World Cup which means most fans have had to make do with the highlights package on Channel 4.
But Sky has been under pressure to make the final on Sunday available for all to watch.
Finally, they have relented, and it has been confirmed today that it will be shown live on Channel 4 as well as Sky Sports (check out our guide if you want to watch your Sky Sports subscription in another country).
There is a slight catch.
Channel 4 is also showing the Formula 1 British Grand Prix on Sunday making it a great day for British sport.
This means that for a couple of hours in the early afternoon, coverage will switch to their sister channel More 4. But this is also free-to-air.
The Cricket coverage will also be streamed live on Channel 4’s online platform, All 4, which is again, free to access.
All 4 is blocked to users outside the UK but, with a little help, it is possible to watch it from anywhere in the world.
What do you need to watch?
If you are outside the UK and want to watch the Cricket World Cup Final for free, all you will need is a VPN.
A VPN, or ‘Virtual Private Network’, keeps what you do online secure and private (find out more what a VPN is) but it can help you unblock online streaming services from other countries such as All 4, Netflix and others.
There are lots of VPNs available but the one that works best with All 4 from overseas is ExpressVPN.
In our tests, we found them to offer the fastest connections and their 30-day money back guarantee comes in handy for peace of mind.
Others do a decent job too, and if you want to shop around, NordVPN and IPVanish are also worth a look. The choice is yours.

Who is playing in the Cricket World Cup Final?
The 2019 Cricket World Cup Final will be between England and New Zealand.
England was one of the favourites prior to the tournament but a run of poor form meant they scraped out of the group stages and into the semi-finals.
However, they beat Australia with their comprehensive eight wicket defeat in the semi-finals suggesting they are back to their best.
New Zealand are always cricket’s dark horses but they have earned their place in the final not least with a superb bowling performance to defend a modest score of 239 in their semi-final against India (incidentally you can watch Indian TV channels in the UK too with your new VPN app).
In the group stage game between these two teams, England scored 305 for 8 before bowling out New Zealand for just 186 to win by 119 runs.
The odds suggest a similar result can be expected in the final.
But in cricket, you just never know!
