How to watch Copa America Brazil online anywhere

The football season has just finished for most European teams, but elsewhere there is a major competition just about to kick-off and it's the Copa America Brasil.

In this guide I'll be showing you how you can live stream all the Copa America games wherever you are in the world.

Copa America, the oldest international continental football competition, is about to get going shortly. It's a competition that draws interest from across the world, but the issue once again lies with online restrictions and TV rights.

In most countries the competition isn't shown and in the ones it is shown in you'll only find it on expensive cable networks.

In Poland and Portugal however, it's being shown for free but the networks showing the competition restrict access to citizens of those respective countries.

However, there's a simple method to hop over those restrictions and live stream the games in your country. If you are interested in learning more, stick around, as I am about to explain everything.

What you will need to watch

Copa America is being organized by South America's football ruling body, known as CONMEBOL. While some TV channels are bound to broadcast it, you will require a cable subscription.

Worst of all, in some countries, it won't even be shown on those expensive cable channels.

Meanwhile, Poland's TVP channel and Portugal's TVI channel are showing the tournament free online.

Unfortunately, the services are blocked to everyone apart from those located in Poland or Portugal.

If you're outside those countries you'll need a VPN app to unblock and watch the games.

We recommend using ExpressVPN as our top choice.

It is one of the biggest VPN providers in the world, and it will give you access to content available in 94 different countries, including the Copa America.

It has over 3,100 servers in 160 locations around the world, as well as blazing fast speeds, a great price, and a substantial discount on a yearly plan.

However, two good alternatives are IPVanish and NordVPN, and you're free to choose the one you like the most.

Where is the Copa America taking place?

The tournament will be held in Brazil, although it will move throughout five different host cities.

The venues will include Estadio do Morumbi (Sao Paulo), where the opening match will take place, while the semi-finals will take place at the Arena do Gremio (Porto Alegre) and Estadio Mineirao (Belo Horizonte).

The final will take place at the Estadio do Maracana (Rio de Janeiro).

What teams are taking part?

As for the teams, 12 of them will be participating, although not all of them are South America's local teams.

The locals include the host, Brazil, as well as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

However, two other teams were invited as well – Japan and Qatar.

Interestingly enough, Qatar will be the first Arab nation to join the tournament, while Japan is entering the competition for the second time. Previously, it also participated back in 1999.

Who is expected to win?

As always, predictions about the matches' outcome dominate the internet, with Brazil seemingly having the best chances.

Chile, the current title holder, is fourth most likely to win, while the second and third most likely countries are Argentina and Uruguay. The least likely winner appears to be Qatar, with only a 1.3% chance, compared to Brazil's 42.6%.

As for Japan, it is only slightly better, with a 2.7% chance of winning. Brazil is believed to have an advantage due to home field advantage, as well as its excellent team, particularly talents such as David Neres and Richarlison.

Additionally, Argentina is likely to be Brazil's most significant threat, and many believe that Messi will be the crucial factor in the team's potential victory.

In Summary

Copa America, the South American football tournament, is about to start.

In other words, many new football matches await and if you're down about the lack of football right now it's a great chance to see some of the top players play for their home nations.

However, you will likely find it difficult to access it and watch it, as the only way to watch usually requires a subscription to a pricey cable network.

The tournament is being shown free by Poland's TVP and Portugal's TVI channels.

Unfortunately, there is a block on the services outside of their respective country, but you can quickly fix that with a VPN.

Sign up for ExpressVPN, download their app, connect to either Poland or Portugal and enjoy live streaming the Copa America in your country.

All that's left to do now is get the beers on ice, invite your mates round and enjoy some quality football matches.
