Celtic TV is the place to be for watching your favourite Scottish football team. In this simple guide I’m going to show you how you can watch Celtic TV in the UK with the help of a little app called a VPN.
Celtic TV is great for those living abroad outside the UK or Ireland because it shows practically every Celtic match including the likes of the 3 pm kick-off games which aren’t shown by any UK broadcaster.
Unfortunately, Celtic TV is restricted to viewing from outside the UK and Ireland only so if you tried to watch in the UK or Ireland you’re blocked from viewing.
Thankfully there is an app called a VPN from providers like NordVPN that allows you to unblock the service and watch Celtic TV in Scotland, the rest of the UK and Ireland in its entirety. Below I’ll show you how.
Watch Celtic TV in the UK
If you try and access Celtic TV inside Scotland, the UK or Ireland then you’ll be blocked from watching, you’ll only be able to listen to matches or watch replays.
The reason is obvious, you’re in Scotland, the UK or Ireland where the service isn’t intended to be used. The Celtic TV website knows your location because of your internet connection and something called your IP Address.
By using an a called a VPN from my recommended provider NordVPN you can change your IP Address so you appear in another country. The result is, instead of being blocked from watching, you can watch all the Celtic games live on Celtic TV INSIDE Scotland, the UK or Ireland.

Are VPN services legal?
VPN services are completely legal in the UK and most other countries across the world.
Their intended purpose is to protect your online security allowing you to protect your privacy so no one knows what you’re doing or where you’re from.
It is this ability to alter your location that lets you pretend you’re in another country so to the Celtic TV website it looks like you’re outside the UK or Ireland.

Alternative VPN services
NordVPN isn’t the only VPN service in the world, in fact, there are hundreds. I recommend NordVPN because when testing I found them to be one of the fastest which reduces the chances of buffering.
You definitely don’t want buffering while watching Celtic because you could miss an important goal.
If you’ve got time then it’s always worth shopping around and although most VPN services cost approximately the same you may find a service that you feel is better.
Not all VPN services are suitable for watching Celtic TV because they’re too slow for streaming video and many don’t work. You may wish to check out these three, but your mileage may vary with them as they aren’t guaranteed to work.
All three providers work the same as NordVPN. The layout of their apps will look different but the process is the same. Simply connect to a country outside the UK or Ireland and watch Celtic TV without restriction.

I have a Nord vpn
NordVPN does work i have been using there vpn for months and haven’t missed a game, infact i actually cast it from my Samsung Galaxy A70 to my chromecast which is plugged into the back of my big screen tv. You have to make sure you are using a speciality server called a obfuscated server (NordVPN provide this) thus allowing you to bypass Celtic TVs recently new vpn block as intended. When you go to pay you need to turn the vpn off after you select your package but before you checkout to be redirected to worldpay to make payment. Hope this helps!
That’s great Dean. We did used to recommend NordVPN using that method but it stopped working, glad to see it’s working again.
