Looking to end your VPN Proxy Master subscription? This is the guide for you.

Using a VPN is crucial these days for a lot of people. Whether you are a remote worker who needs a VPN in order to access your company’s resources safely, or if you are worried about online surveillance, geo-restrictions, censorship, and alike, you need proper protection.

VPN Proxy Master is a popular choice for a lot of people, but that doesn’t mean they’re the best out there and you may be wishing to cancel your subscription.

Of course, like most other VPNs, they offer a premium service, which means that you have to pay for it to use it.

If you made that payment and then changed your mind, here is what you need to do to put a stop to further payments.

Can I cancel my VPN Proxy Master subscription?

You can, of course, cancel your subscription at any time.

VPN Proxy Master has four different plans, but unfortunately, none of them comes with a money-back guarantee.

So, whether you changed your mind immediately after subscription, or after months of using it, you will be stuck with this VPN until the subscription runs out.

Of course, you don’t have to use it if you don’t like it. But, you should see to it that you cancel your subscription so that you will not get charged for it again after your original subscription expires.

Cancelling Apple App Store subscription

On the other hand, if you are an Apple device user, you will have to follow similar steps on your iPhone or iPad.

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Find your name and tap it.
  3. Tap the Subscriptions option.
  4. Once inside, find your subscription to VPN Proxy Master.
  5. Finally, tap Cancel Subscription.

As mentioned, you will not be able to get your funds back due to the VPN’s lack of money-back guarantee.

However, you can still prevent it from charging you again. After cancelling the subscription, you will still be able to use the VPN until the subscription you purchased runs out.

After that, it won’t get renewed.

Before you cancel, consider this

Usually, this is where I would tell you to try and figure things out with the VPN service before cancelling.

Often it’s easier to speak to live help or drop them a support ticket to resolve an issue than go through the process of cancelling.

However, VPN Proxy Master isn’t a recommended service and there are much better ones out there. It’s also super simple to cancel via the app stores.

So now you’ve cancelled, let’s find out what you should do next.

What to do after cancelling?

If you have decided that it is time for a change and that VPN Proxy Master is not the right choice for you, that is perfectly fine. However, don’t give up on using a VPN entirely.

VPNs can be incredibly useful, whether you need to stream overseas Netflix, protect yourself while browsing the web, or if you value your privacy.

This is why we recommend trying out some of the other VPNs. Our recommendations for much better services are:

1. ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN apps on multiple types of devices

ExpressVPN is not only our highest-rated VPN service but it’s also praised across tech publications worldwide.

Highly respected tech publication, Wired said that ExpressVPN was the “best for most people” (Source).

It uses the strongest security and privacy features, such as the OpenVPN security protocol, 256-bit AES encryption, and it has been proven and audited to not keep logs.

It is also based in the British Virgin Islands – far away from any intrusive jurisdiction, and an excellent location for a VPN.

As for its server network, it is massive, containing over 3,000 servers located in 94 different countries.

It also offers apps for all the most popular devices so no matter what device you use, it will be compatible.

30-day money back guarantee

2. CyberGhost VPN

Cyberghost Website

Next, we have CyberGhost, a VPN service based in Romania, that has one of the longest-lasting money-back guarantees in the industry, 45 days.

In other words, no matter which plan you take, you will have 45 days to get your money back if you have a change of heart about using it. This is a great alternative to VPN Proxy Master that has no such guarantee.

Apart from an impressive refund plan, CyberGhost also offers excellent speed and protection.

We like their dedicated streaming servers which show you exactly which to connect to, to unlock your favourite websites

Servers are available in more than 90 countries and there are over 6,400 of them making them one of the largest VPN networks in the world.

3. Surfshark

Surfshark Website screengrab

Our last recommendation is Surfshark, a VPN that has been around for only two years, and yet, it managed to rise through the ranks and make the list with the best of them.

This is another VPN from the British Virgin Islands, which means that it can also afford to keep zero logs about its users’ activities.

Apart from that, it is also excellent in terms of speed and protection. It will grant you access to an open internet, and help you cover your tracks as you use it.

Its prices are somewhat lower than the industry standard, and most people will find them to be affordable.

It also has a pretty vast server network, which spans through 63 countries, with over 1700 servers in total.

They also work with over 15 regions of Netflix which is a neat bonus.

Summary

VPN Proxy Master isn’t the best choice of VPN and if you’ve signed up and changed your mind, you’re not alone.

There are plenty of other better options out there such as ExpressVPN, CyberGhost or Surfshark which we’ve discussed a little above.

However, before you sign up for better service do remember to cancel your VPN Proxy Master subscription first, so that you don’t end up paying for two services simultaneously.
