Of course, if your problem with the service is that it doesn’t have servers in the right places for your needs or something similar, which is not a bug or a misunderstanding, then absolutely go for it and cancel your subscription.

So you still want to cancel?

When it comes to cancelling Surfshark, there are two scenarios that you should keep in mind.

The first one is important if you’re still within the first 30 days from the moment you initially subscribed to Surfshark.

If you are still in these first 30 days, you can request your money back and get a full refund upon canceling the service.

The second scenario is for those who have been using Surfshark for more than 30 days. You can no longer get your money back, but you can still cancel the service at any time.

If you are still within the first thirty days of the moment of subscription, you can send an email to support@surfshark.com, and explain that you want your subscription cancelled and your money back.

Option 2

Or you can use their live chat option which you’ll find in the bottom right-hand corner of their website.

If you are not within the first 30 days, request that automatic renewal of your subscription is cancelled, and then let your existing subscription expire.

Don’t forget you’ll be able to use any remaining time right up until the subscription end date.
